To create a conditional variable, follow the procedure below.

If not already open, open a pay agreement in the Edit Pay Agreement screen. |

In the navigation pane on the left-hand side of the screen, click Conditional Variables under the Pay Agreement section, as shown in the example below. |

Click inside the blank field within the Variable Name column and type a name for the new conditional variable, as shown in the example below. |

If the new conditional variable is to be mandatory, click the Mandatory option. Otherwise, skip this step. |

In the Values row, click . |

Click inside the blank field under the Values column and type a value for the conditional variable, as shown in the example below. |

Repeat steps 6 and 7 until you have created each required value for the new conditional variable. |

Note that you can delete any conditional variable value that is not required by clicking next to the relevant value. You can delete an entire conditional variable that is not required and its associated values by clickingnext to the name of the relevant conditional variable.
