Description

The existing merge tag available in Time & Attendance > Maintenance > Notification Templates for ‘Cost Centre’ is providing the Cost Centre’s record ID, which may not be useful in notifications where a recipient does not know how the record id relates to the name or code of the Cost Centre.

To provide more detail where Cost Centre information is required on a Timesheet Notification we have added the following new merge tags:

  • Cost Centre Code

  • Cost Centre Name

Note: The existing Merge Tag labelled ‘Cost Centre’ is still available, to prevent an issue where templates are already using this item.

Benefits

These new merge tags provide the ability to include information relating to a Job’s Cost Centre on Timesheet Notifications, which may assist a recipient to discern between notifications and what job orders they relate to.

Configuration

If a user wishes to apply these new merge tags, navigate to Time & Attendance > Maintenance > Notification Templates, click here for further details on creating notification templates.
