• Multi-period Payroll (MPP) - process unpaid/unprocessed timesheets and other pay transactions for the current and any prior pay period in a single pay batch without the need to run separate pay batches to process the current and prior period timesheets and transactions respectively. Changes to Adjustment Pay Batches

Due to the introduction of Multi-period Payroll, changes have been made to Adjustment pay batches so that they now only need to be run if processing a balancing payments batch to adjust leave accruals or to process an earlier tax year to date adjustment.

Pay Enquiry enhancements

The Pay Enquiry functionality in the Payroll module has been enhanced to:

• show if a historic, closed pay batch includes payments/transactions for multiple periods (click here for more information)

• display new sections and additional information when viewing a summary of the pay details within a historic, closed pay batch (click here for more information).

Attribution of Percentage Based Leave Accruals to Job Order/Client

Leave that accrues based on a percentage of earnings, where the earnings are attributable to a specific job, are now linked the corresponding job order and client so that leave accrual costs can be attributed accordingly.

Removal of Reset at Pay Batch Leave Reset Rule

Reset Rules for Leave Types, which determine how and when the balance of leave accruals and/or entitlements are to be reset to zero, no longer support the reset at Pay Batch option because that option has been made obsolete with the introduction of Multi-period Payroll in this release.
