Description
Pay and bill rates can now be selected on Country and Parent job templates under Agency Portal > Recruitment Manager > Job Order > Job Template from the 11.37 release on.
Agreement and standard rates can be selected on Country and Parent job templates.
Where a job template has a type of Country or Parent, a Rates section is available on the Job Template screen so that standard rates or agreement rates can be assigned to the job template, in the same manner as previously supported for job templates with a type of Office, Client and Cost Centre. An example of the rates section in a Job Template is shown below.
When you attempt to assign agreement rates to a job template with a type of Country, the list of agreements that are available to be assigned to the job template is filtered to include those agreements that have a hierarchy level and value that matches that of the job template.
For example, if the template type is Country and the template entity name is Australia, the list of agreements that can be assigned to the template will be filtered to list only those agreements that have an agreement hierarchy value of Australia and a hierarchy value of Australia.
When you attempt to assign agreement rates to a job template with a type of Parent, the list of agreements that are available are filtered to list agreements that have a hierarchy level and hierarchy value that matches any of the following:
that of the job template
that of the country of the agency office to which the parent organisation is assigned.
As per existing functionality for job template types of Office, Client and Cost Centre, on assigning rates to job templates of type Country or Parent, fields within the Pay/Bill section of the Job Template screen get populated or become enabled to allow attributes to be selected depending what attributes can be defined at the corresponding template level. For example, the estimated pay and bill rates get displayed based on the rates that have been assigned.
At the Country and Parent job template levels the client who owns a job order is unknown so there is a possibility that the wage cost defaults that are defined in the job template could clash with the wage cost defaults that are defined on the Client record. Therefore, when a job is created from a Country or Parent job template, the following fields on the Agency Portal > Job Order screen are cleared if a value is defined in that field on the job template and on the corresponding Client record but the values do not match:
Pay/Bill > Wage Costs > Work Cover State (for AU only)
Pay/Bill > Wage Costs > Work Cover Code (for AU only)
Pay/Bill > Wage Costs > Payroll Tax State (for AU only)
Pay/Bill > Wage Costs > ACC Code (for NZ only).
If any of these fields are cleared on a job order, a value must be manually re-selected on the job order before the job order can be saved or submitted to timesheet.
Benefits
This enhancement provides additional flexibility where the default attributes of a job order are pre-configured on a Country or Parent job template so that rates can also be defaulted onto job orders.
