You can find existing contribution payment period records via the Payroll > Maintenance > Employee Benefits > Contribution Payment Periods > Contribution Payment Period Maintenance screen. Once you find an existing contribution payment period record, you can do the following:

  • open the record for viewing or editing in the Contribution Payment Period Entry screen

  • delete the record if it is unused and is not required.

To find an existing contribution payment period record, follow the procedure below.

1.

Navigate to Payroll > Maintenance > Employee Benefits > Contribution Payment Periods.

The Contribution Payment Period Maintenance screen opens.

In the Name field, key in the name of the contribution payment period you want find.

Leading and trailing wildcards (%) can be used for partial matching on the name. For example, %m finds all names ending in the letter m while m% finds all names beginning with the letter m.

Skip this step if you want to find contribution payment periods regardless of the name.

If you want to find a contribution payment period where the first payment period begins on a specific date, click the calendar button next to the Validity Start Date field and use the calendar control to select the start relevant date.

Otherwise, skip this step.

If you want to find a contribution payment period where the last payment period ends on a specific date, click the calendar button next to the Validity End Date field and use the calendar control to select the relevant end date.

Otherwise, skip this step.

If you want to find only those contribution payment periods that are not currently flagged as active and are therefore not available to be assigned to benefit scheme administrators, select No in the Active field.

If you want to find contribution periods regardless of their active status, select Any in the Active field. Otherwise, to find only those contribution payment periods that are currently active leave Yes selected in the Active field.

Click Search.

The contribution payment periods that match your search criteria are listed on the screen.

You can open any contribution payment period record that is listed on the Contribution Payment Period Maintenance screen after you perform a search for viewing and editing in the Contribution Payment Period Entry screen by clicking on the view / edit button next to the relevant contribution payment period record in the list.
