Before attempting to link a superannuation fund to an agreement, ensure that the following has been configured: the relevant pay agreement have been configured in Portal > Rates and Rules > Pay Agreements
the relevant super funds have been configured under Portal > Pay > Maintenance > Funds
the relevant contribution rate rules have been configured under Portal > Pay > Maintenance > Contribution Rate Rules.
To link a superannuation fund to a pay agreement, follow the procedure below.

How to Link a Superannuation Fund to a Pay Agreement

 

1.

Go to Portal > Pay > Maintenance > Superannuation > Link to Agreements.
The Link Superannuation to Agreements Maintenance screen opens.

2.

Click .
The Link Superannuation to Agreement screen opens.

3.

In the Agreement field, select a pay agreement.

4.

Next to the field in the Validity Start Date column, click and use the calendar control to select the date on which the link to the pay agreement becomes effective.

Next to the field in the Validity End Date column, click a
nd use the calendar control to select the date on which the link to the pay agreement expires. Alternatively, skip this step if you want the link to remain valid indefinitely.

In the Contribution Rate Rule column, select the contribution rate rule that will determine how superannuation contributions are to be accrued.

7.

If the agreement stipulates that payees may accrue superannuation to a fund of their choice, tick Payee Default and proceed to step 12.
If the agreement stipulates that accrual must be to a specific fund, skip this step and proceed to step 8.

Next to the Fund Name column, click .
The Search Superannuation Funds screen opens.

9.

In the search fields at the top of the Search Superannuation Funds screen, key in or select as much information about the super fund that is to be linked to the agreement and click Search Superannuation Funds
.
Alternatively, if you want to select the relevant super fund from the list of all available funds, click Search Superannuation Funds
without keying in or selecting any information.
The super funds matching your search criteria are listed on the screen.

10.

In the list of existing super funds, click the fund that is to be linked to the agreement.
The fund is highlighted to indicate that it is selected.

11.

Click .
The Search Superannuation Funds screen closes and the name of the selected super fund is displayed in the Fund Name column. Note that if you select the wrong fund name, click to
clear the selection of the fund and then repeat steps 8-11 to select a different fund.

12.

Click .
The selected agreement and super fund are linked and the Link Superannuation to Agreement screen closes.
