Microsoft Edge has recently released a Redirection experience. This means if you are on Microsoft Edge version 87 or later, will automatically load some websites in Edge instead of Internet Explorer.

Once you disable this feature, you’ll be able to open incompatible websites in Internet Explorer, and Microsoft Edge will stop automatically opening them.

Product: v11

Module: MOBO

Step-by-step guide

  1. Open Microsoft Edge and navigate to the top right corner of the screen and select the elipsee icon. This will open a drop-down menu, select Settings

  2. From the left-hand navigation menu, select Default browser. Navigate to the Internet Explorer Compatibility section and change the first option to Never.
