How to Update an Existing Oncost Group

Navigate to Billing > Maintenance > Oncost Groups.

The Oncost Groups Maintenance screen opens.

In the Search section at the top of the screen, select any search criteria that is relevant to the oncost group that you want to edit and click Search.

Country

Country to which the oncost group belongs. This defaults to the country to which you are assigned. To search for oncost groups that belongs to another country, select the name of the relevant country in this field or select Any Country to search for oncost groups regardless of the country to which they belong.

Name

Name of the oncost group. If you know the name of the oncost group you are searching for, key in the name in this field.

You can use leading and trailing wildcards (%) to partially match the oncost group name. For example, %group will match oncost group names such as Blue Collar Oncost Group while oncost% will match oncost group names such as Oncost Group 1.

Active

Active status of the oncost group. If you want to find an oncost group regardless of whether it is currently flagged as active, click on this field until it is shaded. If you want to find an oncost group that is not currently flagged as active, click on this field until it is cleared. Otherwise, to find an oncost group that is currently flagged as active, leave this field ticked.

Oncost Type

Determines the type (pay or bill) of oncost group that you want to find. This field defaults to Any, thereby allowing you to search for pay and bill oncost groups. To search for pay oncost groups or bill oncost groups only, select Pay or Bill in this field respectively.

Oncost

Lists existing oncosts that match the search criteria that are selected in the other search field. This field defaults to Any but you can select the name of a specific oncost group from this list to list that oncost group in the search results list.

Alternatively, to find all existing oncost groups just click Search without changing any of the default search parameters.

Existing oncost groups that match your search criteria are listed in the Results section of the screen.

In the Results section of the screen, locate the row that corresponds to the oncost group that you want to edit and click the View button at the start of the row where that item is listed.

The details of the oncost group are displayed in the Oncost Group Entry screen.

Change any of the oncost group attributes as required.
