The Pay Code Group maintenance functionality has now been removed from the Payroll module and has been combined under the existing Rates and Rules > Maintenance > Pay Code Group and the area. The concept of a pay code group type has been added to differentiate pay code groups that are used by the Rates and Rules module from those that are used by the Payroll module. For example, when searching for existing pay code groups you can now search by type (Rates & Rules, Payroll or Any), as shown in the example below.

Benefits
This enhancement allows configuration of pay code groups to be performed in a centralised maintenance location within the FastTrack360 system.
Configuration
On upgrading to v12 any existing pay code groups that were created under Payroll > Maintenance > Pay Code Group will be accessible under Rates and Rules > Maintenance > Pay Code Group and will have been assigned a pay code group type of Payroll. Any existing pay code groups that were created under Rates and Rules > Maintenance > Pay Code group will continue to be accessible in the same area and will have been assigned a pay code group type of Rates & Rules.
When creating a new pay code group, it is now mandatory to select the pay code group type that identifies whether the pay code group is for use in Rates and Rules or the Payroll module. An example of this is shown below.
