The Questionnaire Maintenance general settings allow configuration of various aspects of the Questionnaire Maintenance module behaviour. There are three separate areas that are controlled by the general settings as follows:
duplicate settings import settings keywords.
Each of these is described in detail below. In order to import submitted candidate details into the system, the import process must log in to the database. To do this, the import process must use login credentials so that the system can verify login attempts made by the import process. Therefore, it is necessary to specify a username and password which the import process will use to log in. It is recommended that a dedicated default system user be created and the user’s username and password can be used for the import process login credentials. The default system user should be an agency user with full security permissions to the Questionnaire Maintenance module.
In the import settings, it is also necessary to define an email address to which import notifications will be sent as well as the email from address that will display on the email notification sent to applicants. Import notifications are email messages that are sent to specific address in the event that an error occurs when importing submitted candidate job applications. Import notifications are also sent in the event that the import service stops for any reason. This notifies a suer or system administrator that there is a problem with the import process and therefore steps can be taken to correct the problem.
Import Settings are usually established as part of the setup process for FastTrack360. The settings enable the import of candidate applicants and should not be changed unless required.
