Description

Currently within a Job Order, when you open a job where rates have been assigned, the complete list of rates (pay codes) is loaded. Where there is a large number of rates, the time it takes to load the job order screen can be impacted. Image Removed

...

To improve the time it takes to load a job where rates are assigned, in this release we have introduced new settings in Maintenance > General Items, to provide the ability to centrally configure if the Job's rates (pay codes):

  • Load in full - all rates display in the list

  • Load, but limited - where you nominate the number of rates to load

  • Do not load - the rates list and related list actions are collapsed (minimised) within the Rates Section.

The new settings impact (on load or refresh of the page):

  • Job Orders where rates are assigned (both Standard and Agreement) Job Templates where rates are assigned (both Standard and Agreement)

  • Connect Job Orders where rates are assigned (both Standard and Agreement)

See Configuration below for details.

Benefits

This enhancement provides an Agency with the ability to determine the load of the rate list (pay codes) on open of a job. Agencies that utilise agreements with large numbers of pay codes, will find the ability to influence the load of rates will (where set to limited or minimised) reduce the time it takes to open a job order.

Configuration

To change the way the rate lists loads in job orders, open Recruitment Manager > Maintenance > General items > General Settings and navigate to 'Default Job Rate List Load' (shown below).

Expanded (All) - this is the default setting, which is the existing experience where all pay codes load in the rate list on open of a Job Order.

Expanded (Limited) - this setting will load the number of rates entered in the mandatory 'No of Rates displayed' item. Note: The order that pay codes display in can be configured in Rates & Rules > Maintenance, click here for details.

Minimised - this setting will minimise the pay code list on open of a job order. The header items within the Rates Section will still display, so in the case of Agreement Rates, users with permission will still be able to Change Agreements.

In the below example of a Job's Rate Section, the 'Minimised' option has been selected, so the rates list is not loaded, including the list actions Edit, Reset Filter and Manage Layout. The new View Rates where clicked will load the full list of rates and the list actions, should this be required. Image Removed
