Rounding

A bill rate rule defines defines how the bill result of the bill rate rule is to be rounded. That is, the bill rate can be rounded up or down to a specific number of decimal places or it can be truncated to a specific number of decimal places. Note that this the following:

  • the rounding/truncating applies to the bill result and not the bill rate that is used to calculate the result

  • the rounding/truncating is not applied to bill items that have a margin/markup type of Flat - that is because no bill rate is calculated by the system for such items and instead a flat bill rate is defined directly on the bill rate rule.
