To create a conditional variable, follow the procedure below.
How to Create a Conditional Variable
1. | If not already open, open a pay agreement in the Edit Pay Agreement screen. |

At the header of the |
agreement, click on the Conditional Variables |
tab. The Conditional Variables |
tab displays. |

A blank field appears under the Variable Name column.
3. | Click Add. The Conditional Variable Entry panel displays. | |
4. | Click inside the blank field within the Variable Name column and type a name for the new conditional variable |

5. | If the new conditional variable is to be mandatory, click the Mandatory option. Otherwise, skip this step. |
6. | In the Values row, click Add. A blank field appears in the Values column. |
7. | Click inside the blank field under the Values column and type a value for the conditional variable, as shown in the example |

8. | Repeat steps 6 and 7 until you have created each required value for the new conditional variable. |
9. | At the |
header of the |
agreement, select Save. A confirmation message opens and indicates that the |
record has been saved successfully. |

Inside the confirmation message, click
The confirmation message closes.
Note that you can delete any conditional variable value that is not required by clicking the delete button next to the relevant value. You can delete an entire conditional variable that is not required and its associated values by clickingnext clicking the Remove button next to the name of the relevant conditional variable.
