Candidate Record - Update to the Security Role
Description
When a candidate is created, configuration can be applied to automatically generate a portal user record. This process applies the default security role that has been defined in the Users configuration against the created candidate portal user record.
It may be the case that certain types of candidates, such as those supplied by an Umbrella company or 3rd Tier agency should have a different security profile to the mainstream of candidates. This definition may be the responsibility of Front Office Staff who may not have access to the Users maintenance screen in Global Maintenance.
To allow front office staff the ability to change a candidates security profile, this field has been added to the Candidate screen in the Portal User section. This includes the Candidate Connect screen.

It provides easier access to update a candidate’s portal user configuration.
Configuration
The user who is administering the change must have the following security permission set to True on Full or Add/Edit permission level.
