Failed Jobs

When the Process Queue begins processing a queued job the job may fail to process successfully if, for example, a system error occurs or a network outage occurs during the processing of the job. If this occurs, the Process Queue will automatically attempt to process the job again as soon as the system has recovered from the error or outage. A maximum of three attempts will be made to process the job and if the job does not process successfully on the third attempt, the status of the job will be set to Failed. The failed job will remain listed in the Queued Jobs panel for a predefined amount of time, as per configuration, see Queued Jobs Tile for more details.

If a job fails, no financial transaction export files are generated. Therefore, a new batch that includes the same data must be created and queued for processing. This will create a new job in the Process Queue and the system will then attempt to process the new batch.
