Consolidation of Oncost Maintenance
Description
Pay and bill oncosts are now created and maintained under a consolidated oncost maintenance area that is accessible under the Rates and Rules > Maintenance menu, as show in the example below.
Within the oncost maintenance area the concept of an oncost type is now used to distinguish pay oncosts from bill oncosts. For example, when searching for existing oncosts, you can now search by type (Pay, Bill or Any), as shown in the example below.

This enhancement organises functionality related to oncost maintenance into a single, consolidated maintenance area.
Configuration
On upgrading to v12 any existing oncost records that were created under Rates and Rules > Maintenance > Pay Oncost and under Rates and Rules > Maintenance > Pay Oncost will be accessible under the consolidated Rates and Rules > Maintenance > Oncost area within FastTrack360.
Oncosts that were previously created under Rates and Rules > Maintenance > Pay Oncost are automatically assigned an oncost type of Pay and any oncosts that were created under Rates and Rules > Maintenance > Pay Oncost are automatically assigned an oncost type of Bill.
When creating a new oncost, it is now mandatory to select oncost type that identifies whether the oncost that is being created is a pay or bill oncost. An example of this is shown below.
