Rule Conditions

Different types of conditions can be defined within each pay code rule belonging to an agreement. Different conditions can be defined depending on the pay code type.

The table below lists and describes the various pay code rule conditions and the rule types to which each condition applies.

Conditional Variable

Defines a condition based on a conditional variable having a certain value on the corresponding job order.

The conditional variables and corresponding values that can be selected must be configured separately within the pay agreement before they can be selected as a condition of a pay code rule.
Multiple conditional variable conditions can be defined within a single rule.

Counter

Defines a condition that applies as a result of another pay/bill code rule applying a specific pay code or pay code type to a shift.

One counter condition can be defined within a single rule.

Counter rules

Holiday Type

Defines a condition based on a whether or not a shift occurred on a day that is flagged as a specific holiday type.

Multiple holiday type conditions can be defined within a single rule.

Hours Worked

Defines a condition based on the number of hours worked during a shift. Multiple hours worked conditions can be defined within a single rule.

Manual

Defines a condition based on the type of manual item keyed against a timesheet, where the manual item corresponds to a specific pay code.

One manual condition can be defined within a single rule.

Manual rules

Schedule

Defines a condition based on whether the payee was/was not scheduled on to work on a given day.

This condition can be defined only if the Compare to Job Schedule option is enabled for the agreement. One schedule condition can be defined within a single rule.

Shift Day Type

Defines a condition based on whether or not a shift occurred on a specific day or one of a range of days of the week.

Shift Type

Defines a condition based on whether or not a shift corresponds to specific shift type (attendance type). Multiple shift type conditions can be defined within a single rule.

Time

Defines a condition based on when the shift started, ended or the duration of the shift. Multiple time conditions can be defined within a single rule.
