Exporting the List of Errors

The pay company and payee submission errors that are displayed on STP Submission Audit screen can be independently exported to a spreadsheet file so that the errors can be analysed without having to continually refer to the STP Submission Audit screen. The error file can also be sent to other staff in your organisation or FastTrack support staff to help diagnose and fix errors.

A pay company errors list or payee errors list can be exported via the Export button when the error details are expanded on the STP Submission Audit screen, as shown in the example below.

 

When you export an error list, all the details that are displayed in the error list on the STP Submission Audit screen are exported, along with additional diagnostic information.

The table below lists and describes the fields that are exported when pay company errors are exported.

Field

Description

Error ID

Displays a unique number that identifies the instance of the error in the FastTrack database.

If you are unsure why an error has occurred or are unable to resolve an error without help from FastTrack support staff, you can quote this error ID to FastTrack to help identify the specific error that requires resolution.

Pay Company Name

Displays the trade name of the pay company to which the error applies.

ABN

Displays the Australian Business Number of that identifies the pay company to which the error applies.

ABN Branch

Displays the Australian Business Number branch code of the pay company to which the error applies.

Pay Batch No.

Displays the pay batch number that uniquely identifies the pay batch to which the error corresponds.

Pay Group

Displays the name of the pay group that was paid in the corresponding pay batch.

Submission Status

Displays the submission status of the pay company. This can be one of the following:

  • Rejected

  • Completed with Exceptions

  • Technical Error

Error Message Description

Displays a textual description of the error that explains why the error occurred and what needs to be fixed to resolve the error. You can refer to this description to undertand why the error has occurred and what you need to do to fix it.

ATO Error Code

Displays the error code that the ATO has returned in response to the pay company submission.

If you are unsure why an error has occurred or are unable to resolve an error without help from FastTrack support staff, you can quote this error code to FastTrack to help identify the cause of the error.

ATO Message ID

Displays the message ID that the ATO assigned to the corresponding submission on receipt by their systems.

If you need to contact the ATO for assistance with diagnosing an error, this message ID can be quoted to the ATO to help identify the submission, as received by the ATO systems.

ATO Receipt Message ID

Displays the receipt ID that was sent by the ATO to acknowledge receipt of the corresponding submission.

If you need to contact the ATO for assistance with diagnosing an error, this message ID can be quoted to the ATO to help identify the response sent by ATO systems in acknowledgement of the corresponding submission having been received.

ATO Detailed Description

Displays the detailed error description as returned by SBR/ATO, which can be used by FastTrack support staff or the ATO to help diagnose and fix an error.

ATO XML Error Message

Displays the Extensible Markup Language (XML) message returned by the ATO that can be used by FastTrack support staff or the ATO to help diagnose and fix an error.

Displays a unique number that identifies the instance of the error in the FastTrack database.

Payee No.

Displays the payee ID that uniquely identifies a payee within FastTrack360.

First Name

Displays the given name of the listed payee.

Surname

Displays the family name of the listed payee.

Pay Company Name

Displays the trade name of the pay company for which the payee works.

ABN

Displays the Australian Business Number that identifies the pay company for which the payee works.

ABN Branch

Displays the Australian Business Number branch code that differentiates the pay company from other pay companies under the same company structure that share the same ABN.

Pay Batch No.

Displays the pay batch number to which the submission error corresponds.

Pay Group

Displays the name of the listed payee’s pay group in which the payee is payrolled.

Submission Status

Displays the submission status for the payee.

Error Message Description
