Viewing the Payee Audit History

Payee data stored in the system is critical for ensuring that payees are paid correctly and according to legislative requirements. The Payroll module maintains an audit history that allows you to view the following information about a payee record:

  • when the changes were made

  • who made the changes

  • what the changes were.

You can view a chronological list of events that affected a payee record via the Payee Audit History screen. Each time a payee record is saved, including the first time the record is created, an event is added to the list of events shown in the Payee Audit History screen. An example of this is show below.

You can click the button next to any of the change events that are listed on the Payee Audit History screen to display the payee record as it was when the event occurred. The payee record is displayed in a separate Payee Entry screen and is shown in display-only mode so that the historical payee information cannot be edited.
When you view a historic version of a payee record, the Payee Entry screen does not show the following information that is normally displayed in the Payee Entry screen:

  • Attachments.

  • Payee Conditional Variables

  • Custom Fields.
