How to Edit an Existing ACC Levy Code
You can edit any attributes on an existing ACC code record if the ACC code is yet to be used in a pay batch. Once a ACC code has been used in a pay batch, you cannot edit the following attributes:
ACC code
Industry
Skill Groups
Start Date and rate of the current or any prior rate period
End Date of any prior rate period.
Regardless of whether a ACC code has been used in a pay batch, you can add new rate periods and rates to the code whenever necessary. For more information, see How to Add New Rates to an Existing ACC Code below.
How to Edit an Existing ACC Code
1. | If the relevant ACC code record is not already open in the ACC Code Entry screen, search for and open the relevant record. | Â |
2. | Change any attributes of the ACC code as required (for more information, see Add a ACC Code). | Â |
3. | Click Save. The changes you have made to the ACC code are saved. |
How to Add Rates to an Existing ACC Code
To add new rates to an existing ACC Code, follow the procedure below.
1. | If the relevant ACC code record is not already open in the ACC Code Entry screen, search for and open the relevant record. | Â |
2. | In the End Date column for the current rate period within the Rates table, click on the calendar button and use the calendar control to select the end date of the current rate period. The date you selected is displayed in the End Date column. | |
3. | Click Add. A new row appears within the Rates table and the date in the Start Date column defaults to one day after the end date of the previous rate period. | |
4. | In the End Date column of the new row, click on the calendar button and use the calendar control to select the date on which the new rate period expires. Alternatively, skip this step if the rate period is to remain effective indefinitely. | |
5. | In the Rate column of the new row, key in the ACC rate that will apply to the ACC code for the corresponding rate period. | Â |
6. | Click Save. The changes you have made to the ACC code are saved. |
