How to Delete an Existing Pay Company

An existing pay company can be deleted if the existing pay company record has not been used within the system. For example, a pay company can be deleted if no payees have been assigned to the pay company and no pay transactions have occurred in the system for the pay company.

To delete an existing pay company, follow the procedure below.

1.

Search for the relevant record using the Payroll > Maintenance > Pay Company screen.

The existing pay company or companies matching your search criteria are listed on the Pay Company Maintenance screen.

In the list of existing pay companies, click the the delete button next to the company you wish do delete.

A confirmation message opens, prompting you to confirm the deleting of the pay company.

4.

Click to continue deleting the pay company.

The confirmation messages closes and the pay company record is deleted.
