Create and Manage Group Notifications
One group notification can be created for each delivery method (email or SMS) and country combination.
Create a new group notification
1 | Navigate via the left hand menu to Maintenance > Group Notifications. The Group Notifications Maintenance screen opens. | Â |
2 | Click Add. The Add Group Notifications pop up displays. | |
3 | In the County field, select the country to which the notification will apply. |  |
4 | In the Delivery Method field, select Email or SMS depending on the method by which the notification is to be delivered. |  |
5 | In the Subject field, key in the text that is to appear in the subject line of the notification. Skip this step if the delivery method you selected in step 4 was SMS. |  |
6 | In the Message field, key in the body text of the message. Note that you can add merge tags into the body of the message by positioning the text cursor where the contents of the merge tag are to be inserted within the message text, clicking on the on the relevant merge tag in the Merge Tags field and then clicking | |
7 | Click Save. A confirmation message opens to indicate that the group notification has been saved. |
Search for and list existing group notifications
1 | Navigate via the left hand menu to Maintenance > Group Notifications. The Group Notifications Maintenance screen opens. | Â |
2 | In the County field, select the country for which you want to find and list notifications. |  |
3 | In the Delivery Method field, select Email or SMS depending on whether you want to find and list only those group notifications that have been configured to be delivered via email or SMS respectively. Alternatively, leave the default option of Any selected if you want to find and list group notifications regardless of the delivery method. |  |
4 | Click Search. The existing group notifications that match your search criteria display in the Group Notification List. |
Edit an existing group notification
1 | Navigate via the left hand menu to Maintenance > Group Notifications. The Group Notifications Maintenance screen opens. | Â |
2 | Within the list of notifications click the Action menu next to the item to be edited, then select Edit. The Edit Group Notification pop up displays. opens in the Group Notification Entry screen. | |
3 | Change the attributes of the group notification as required. | Â |
4 | When you have updated the notification as required and are ready to save your changes, click Save Changes. A confirmation message opens to indicate that the group notification has been saved. |
Delete an existing group notification
1 | Navigate via the left hand menu to Maintenance > Group Notifications. The Group Notifications Maintenance screen opens. | Â |
2 | Within the list of notifications click the Action menu next to the item to be edited, then select Delete. The Edit Group Notification pop up displays. opens in the Group Notification Entry screen. | |
3 | Click Delete. A confirmation message opens, prompting you to confirm deleting the selected notification. | |
4 | To continue deleting the notification, click Yes. A confirmation message opens to indicate that the group notification has been deleted. |
