How to Create a Payee Conditional Variable

To create a new payee conditional variable for a country, follow the procedure below.

1	Go to Maintenance > Conditional Variable and click. The Conditional Variables Maintenance screen opens.
2	Click Add. The Add Conditional Variable pop up displays.
3	In the Country field, select the country to which the payee conditional variable is to apply.
4	In the Name field, key in the name of the conditional variable as it will appear on a payee record (for example: Tenure). The name must be unique for the country to which the conditional variable is being created.
5	If you do not want the conditional variable to be available on payee records and leave types immediately, click the Active field to clear the tick. Otherwise, to make the conditional variable available as soon as it is created, leave this field ticked.
6	Click Add. A new, blank row appears within the Variable Value* column.*
7	In the new blank row within the Variable Value column, key in one of the possible values that may apply to a payee for this conditional variable.
8	Repeat steps 6 & 7 until you have defined each possible value that can be applied for the conditional variable.
9	When you have added each possible value, click Save. The Conditional Variable screen closes and a confirmation message opens to indicate that the conditional variable has been saved.
