How to Refresh a Timesheet
Refreshing a timesheet restores all attendance information on that timesheet to its original state. In the case where timesheets are not prefilled with default attendance information, refreshing a timesheet has the following effects:
any shift work dates that have been edited revert to the original work date
any shift start times, end times, attendance types, break items and project items that have been added are removed
any shifts that were originally on the timesheet and were deleted are restored
any shifts that were not originally on the timesheet are removed.
If your timesheets are prefilled by the system with default timesheet information, refreshing a timesheet will have the following effects:
any manually added shifts, break items or project items are removed
any shifts, break items or project items that were manually removed are restored
all work dates and times that were manually edited revert to the default dates and times
all attendance types that were manually edited revert back to the default attendance types.
Refreshing a timesheet is useful if you have erroneously keyed in timesheet information on the wrong timesheet.
Refreshing a timesheet affects timesheet information on the Attendance section of the timesheet only, as displayed in the Timesheet Entry screen. It does not remove any manual items or timesheet attachments that have been added via the Additional Items section of the Timesheet Entry screen.
To refresh a timesheet, follow the procedure below.Â
1 | Open the relevant timesheet in the Timesheet Entry screen. |
2 | Click Refresh near the top of the Timesheet entry screen. The timesheet is refreshed. |
3 | Click Save near the top of the Timesheet Entry screen to save the timesheet or click Submit to submit the timesheet. |
