Timesheet Header
The timesheet header displays information that identifies the timesheet including the following:
name of the client who owns the job to which the timesheet belongs
the type of timesheet rates ie; Agreement Rates or Standard Rates
the job order code
the cost centre code (where applied)
the order by contact name
the start date of the work period to which the timesheet corresponds
the end date of the work period to which the timesheet corresponds.
The timesheet header also displays/allows keying in of the timesheet code. A timesheet code is a unique code that identifies each timesheet. For example, the timesheet code may consist of the first three letters of the payee's first name, followed by the first three letters of their second name, followed by the corresponding week number of the year. Depending on the job order to which a timesheet belongs, it may be mandatory to key in a timesheet code before a timesheet can be saved or submitted.
Timesheet Items
The timesheet items section of a timesheet allows you to view and add different types of items that are captured on a timesheet. This section of the timesheet screen is divided into sub-sections as described in the table below.
Section | Description |
Attendance | Allows you to view and edit information about each shift that was worked during the work period to which the timesheet corresponds, including shift start and end times, breaks and project codes. |
Manual Items | Allows you to view and edit information about standard rates items that apply to the job to which the timesheet corresponds. Also allows you to view and edit information about additional items, such as allowances, that a payee may have claimed for the period to which the timesheet corresponds. |
Reimbursements | Allows you to view and edit information about any reimbursements that are being claimed for the period to which the timesheet corresponds. |
Attachments | Allows you to view and edit files that have been attached to the timesheet, such as medical certificates for any leave taken or copies of receipts for reimbursement claims. |
Comments | Provides timesheet initiators and timesheet approvers with the ability to add comments to a timesheet, which can then also be seen in the interpreter. |
You can view any of the items in each section by clicking /\ to expand the relevant section. You can add items to any of the sections by clicking the Add icon next to the relevant section.
You cannot edit or add timesheet items if the timesheet has been opened from the Submitted Timesheets list and therefore has a status of Submitted.
