When the Primary Resume Preview section has been added to a user’s Candidate record layout, the Candidates primary resume will automatically display in that section so long as it is has a valid file type.
If the Resume isn’t displayed and it has a valid file type, it is likely due to the browser being used. Below are details on how to check if the browser is the cause.

Open Chrome and click More > Settings
In Search settings enter PDF
Click on Site settings
Scroll down and click on Additional content settings
Scroll down and click on PDF documents
If Download PDF files instead of automatically opening them in Chrome is on (blue), it will need to be turned off for the Resume preview to work
Internet Explorer
The Internet Explorer doesn’t have it’s own PDF reader so the Resume can’t be displayed unless a PDF reader program is installed on the PC.
If a PDF reader program isn’t installed on your PC, you one will need to install one or be installed otherwise use Chrome to view Candidate records.

Open Adobe Acrobat Reader
Click Edit > Preferences
In the Categories list, select Security (Enhanced)
Untick Enabled Protected Mode at startup > click Yes > click Ok
