Description
In this release we have introduced a Bulk Update feature for Candidate Records. Currently where several candidates require a change, for example, the Candidate Owner needs to change from one Agency User to another, users need to edit each candidate to change Candidate Owner. The Bulk Update Candidate process provides you with the ability to select all candidates requiring update, select the element(s) that need to be changed, and run the update.

Capacity Limit
To ensure the volume of records requested does not impact system performance, the limit has been set to 200 records. If you select more than 200 records, the system will advise that it will take the first 200 records in the list.

Where the user has been granted Security Permission for this feature, the following steps are followed to bulk update candidates:
Step 1 - Select the candidates to be updated
In the Search Candidate list, a new Action is available for Bulk Actions. This action is editable where one or more items are selected from the list.
...
Where Bulk Actions is selected, the Bulk Action workflow opens in a new separate browser tab.
Step 2 - Select Update Values
From the list items, select the values that need to be updated.
...
When the values have been defined, click Next.
Step 3 - Confirmation
The Confirmation step allows you to review what has been selected for update before triggering the update process.
...
You can use the ‘Action’ menu in each row to remove any items that were accidentally added. If you are happy with the selected items, click Update to commence the update process.
Step 4 - Progress / Completion
The Progress / Completion screen provides real time feedback on the progress of the update. The system will handle a record then move to the next. If there is an issue, for example one Job’s Candidate does not have availability for the requested new End Date, the ‘Progress’ value displays 'Error’ and a Validation Message displays. The system will then move on to the next record.
...
The records that have been updated will disappear from the list as the system moves through the transactions. When the update has been completed, if you wish to see the list of items that have been updated, simply select the ‘Reset Filter’ button at the top of the list.
Benefits
Saves time where more than one candidate requires the same update(s).
